PHA is a mixture of lectins isolated from the red kidney bean, Phaseolus vulgaris
It is the fraction of PHA that exhibits strong leukoagglutinating and mitogenic activity, but very little erythroagglutinating activity
This reagent is intended for use in in vitro activation of human and mouse leukocytes
