Description

Description

Take more accurate and reproducible ISE measurements with Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ ISE Ionic Strength Adjustors (ISA) and Special Reagents. Ionic strength adjustors are used for analysis with ion selective electrodes, and special reagents are used with some ion selective electrodes.

Warranty: Out of box

Ionic strength adjuster is added to all samples and standards to create a uniform background ionic strength, which provides more reproducible measurements. The ammonia pH-adjusting ISA (951211) and low-level ammonia pH-adjusting ISA (951210) both include a pH-indicating blue dye for instant verification of correct pH in ammonia samples and standards with no pH measurement required. The ammonia pH-adjusting ISA (951211) prevents complexation of ammonia and inhibits formation of metal hydroxides, allowing determination of total ammonia in the sample and increasing the accuracy of results. The low-level ammonia pH-adjusting ISA (951210) is ideal for ammonia samples with a concentration of 10ppm and below that do not contain metal interferences.

All ionic strength adjusters and special reagents are packaged as one 1 pint (475mL) bottle, except:

  • Cat. No. 941709 is packaged as two 1 quart (2 x 1L) bottles
  • Cat. No. 941609 is packaged as four 1 pint (4 x 475mL) bottles
  • Cat. No. 940909 is packaged as one 1 gallon (3.7L) bottle
  • Cat. No. 940999 is packaged as four 1 gallon (4 x 3.7L) bottles
